The Burton Heritage Society hosts the ninth annual Texas Ranger Day in historic Burton, Texas at the Burton Railroad Depot, 507 N Railroad Street, on Saturday, March 16, 2019 from noon to 5pm.  Celebrate Burton’s history with an afternoon of activities including tasty food at the Annie Maud Avis Memorial Fajita and Bean cook-off, live action re-enactments by the Legends of the Texas Rangers, folk life demonstrations , kids activities, and tours of the historic Railroad Depot, as well as the Burton Farmer's Cotton Gin (10am & 2pm). Also enjoy dj music thanks to the Kountry Chick.  Proceeds will restore our second historic site, the Mt. Zion Historical Chapel.
