Spend an afternoon full of the Christmas spirit, Sat. Dec 14th from 12-4pm, strolling the tiny town of Burton, Pop. 300, located halfway between Austin and Houston. Explore the Burton Christmas Market with hand-crafted local items, baked goods and more at the Roy Winkler Family Pavilion. Enjoy some delicious "Junebug's" turkey stew, bread and a drink. Soak up the holiday spirit as kids of all ages decorate ornaments and gingerbread houses. Right on cue from 1-3pm, Santa will arrive for festive photos! Presented by the Burton Heritage Society, and Burton Chamber, in partnership with the Texas Cotton Gin Museum. All activities free except for food/drink and gingerbread houses.
