The Burton Heritage Society hosts the tenth annual Texas Ranger Day in historic Burton, Texas at the Burton Railroad Depot, 507 N Railroad Street, on Saturday, March 27, 20 from noon to 5pm. Celebrate Burton’s history with an afternoon of activities including tasty food at the Annie Maud Avis Memorial Fajita and Bean cook-off, live action by the Old West Rangers, demonstrations by the Legends of the Texas Rangers, folklife demonstrations including blacksmithing and chuckwagon cooking, kids activities, mule driven buggy rides, and tours of the historic Railroad Depot, as well as the Burton Farmers Cotton Gin (10am & 2pm). Also enjoy dj music thanks to the Kountry Chick. Proceeds will restore our second historic site, the Mt. Zion Historic Chapel.
