Texas Ranger Day 2020

The Burton Heritage Society will host the tenth annual Texas Ranger Day in historic Burton, Texas at the Burton Railroad Depot, 507 N Railroad Street, on Saturday, March 21, 2020 from noon to 5pm.  Celebrate Burton’s history with an afternoon of activities including tasty food at the Annie Maud Avis Memorial Fajita and Bean cook-off, weapons display by Legends of the Texas Rangers, live action re-enactments by the Old West Rangers, folklife demonstrations, kids activities, and tours of the historic Railroad Depot & the Burton Farmer's Cotton Gin (10am & 2pm). Also enjoy DJ music with the Kountry Chick and special guest Robert Zientek. Proceeds this year will restore our second historic site, the Mt. Zion Historical Chapel.  Admission to the event is free, tickets for all you can eat fajitas and beans are $10 for adults, $5 for kids 5-10.
